Hmm, seems that the oil might be low. The reason I say this is that on cranking the low oil sensor is not detecting oil, so that it will not let the engine start. Once it gets cranking and running there is sufficient pressure to let it continue. Of ocurse, this is just a WAG on my part, but I have the problem a lot on my small engines. My guys, for whatever reason have a real problem remembering what a dipstick is for.
