K&N is considered a performance filter, which means it passes a lot of air. To do that they have to use larger holes in the mesh. Finer holes filter better, but don't pass as much air. You can't have both, it is one or the other.

Thanks for the info, do you know if you can just buy the cone from Airiad and replace the K&N cone filter or do you have to buy the intake cold air system?, Thanks

Yes after you delete the dpf the truck is a little bit louder due to the fact that there will be no more restriction in the exhaust system. It will also smoke black if you give it a little to much throttle.

I just realized that you said you already have a tuner installed. If you still have your dpf a tuner will just cause your truck to regen more often. If you are looking for a tuner that works well with the stock system banks makes a good one but I think it is fairly pricey. Also about the air filter, I run an afe drop in that works well. I will eventually upgrade to a cold air intake but I switch between 2 drop ins and they work great.
