out of the hole sooooo slow

Been gone for a while. The 6.0 now has 30k + miles and it is still sluggish out of the hole. Any suggestions?? From a stop, any stop, it runs like I dropped an anchor out the windowfor the first few seconds and then it spools up. If I punch it and let off it won't respond to the throttle for several seconds.

You didn't mention if the truck was stock or modded...but, if it is stock, a tuner will help with the lag. It won't cure it though, but it will help some.

I think if you spool it up before leaving thats the only thing that will help it any. If I spool mine up, it leaves like a raped ape and thats stock with no tuner.

List what mods you have done to it.

Lots of things can get you outta the hole faster, spool up the turbo first, an SCT with custom tunes, a turbo back 4" exhaust, exterminate the kitty.

She is still stock. no mods yet. At 35000 I was leary about to much modding effecting the warranty.
