You can get all the brackets at FordCummins.com. They make or offer all the necessary brackets, motor mounts, adapter plates and hardware needed for the swap.
If/when my 6.0 blows up, I will be doing this swap. I think it makes perfect sense. That cummins motor is way more reliable, easier to work on and cheaper to modify than my 6.0. I love my truck, but I also really like the cummins engine. I WANT BOTH!!!!!!
Don't get me wrong....I love my truck, but when it is time for a new engine.........a cummins will be going in. Hopefully.......thats not for a LONG time though!!!
nice conversion. the rest of that truck made me throw up in my mouth a little. looks like someone drove it through JCWhitney with the magnet turned on.
for all you naysayers, don't forget ford puts cummins motors in the 650s and up. The only people that think 7.3s and 6.0s are better motors than the 5.9 are 7.3 and 6.0 owners. funny how that works...
