I saw a functional Maytag gas powered washer at an antique engine show. Said maytag right on the engine. Had a pedal you stepped down on the start it.

Actually I had the very first pcat 6 mhz computer in Redding. I had to format the hard drive and install dos.

Bush, that is exactly what we used before the first washer. I remember my grandmother using a wash board exactly like the one you show. She had a large metal tub and put the washboard in the tub and scrubbed the clothes. Then hung them on the clothes line to dry, with wooden clothes pins...

I remember that same model my folks had back in the 40's, one model ,i am not sure if that one was is but my brother got hit in the chops when a roller poped up . he was 10 years older than me and would tell me if i didn't mind him he would dump me in there and turn it on. lol...
