I was at Walmart the other day with my two sons and as we were walking towards the store from the X one of them says in an excited tone "Look Daddy a Monster Truck!!"

Only in Texas I see these kinda folk driving nearly anything in to do a little shoppin'

I see some 550's and 650's around the mall near me quite a bit too. One of the local dealers lifts 'em and puts some big Michelin XML's on them, total Mall Cruisers.

when they first came out, a silver one sold at barrett-jackson for 100 grand.

i think topped out with every possible option, which includes:

hydraulic dump bed,
complete air ride system on the body and suspension,
entertainment system,
and so on, and so on.

would run around 130,000.

I've driven one and they ride like CRAP. Air ride would be a nice option. But it was fun to cruise around in.
