15w40 rotella or 5w40 rotella T6 I live in south La what do you guys think
2003 F-250 6.0 no problems so far:sweet

Both of those oils will work great. If you want to know the secret, all oils must be API rated CJ-4 or greater. CI-4 is good as is CH-4.

Living in Scott, LA. I would stay with the 15 W 40 year round, summers are hot and winters are not that cold except for a few days it get may in the teens.

The 5w-40 will make your injectors happy. BUT, your wallet will not be quite as happy.

Use what you can afford. T6 is a great oil.

I've run synthetics since hitting 20k miles, now at 210k miles I still have the original injectors.

15-W-40 year round. If freezing or colder. an hour plug in on the oil sump heater does the startup trick.
