This sounds wonderful, but what would stop them from just selling more to China / India / etc.? What would fuel cost if we had to buy it, already refined, from another country? And as quick as other countries are growing and becoming more "westernized" the demand is just going to grow. I agree its a crappy situation. The truth is that eventually the oil will dry up, and we need to be prepared for that. Were not. As far as food, the farmers are being driven out of business or are selling corn and soy beans as energy sources. Right now a gallon of milk is only a little behind a gallon of diesel fuel. A quick trip to the grocery store will open anyone's eyes. I certainly don't have the answers. Throw in the diminished value of the dollar and the value of the Euro, and it will give you a headache. :doh:

I LIKE IT!!!

I agree with F350DRW1. We are shooting are self in the foot or feet, and WE need to stop.
