Mine was like the Valdez! I was about returning from Arizona to Colorado and my low oil light came on. When I stopped and checked it the trailer I was towing and the entire underside of the truck was covered with oil. I wasn't able to tell where it was coming from so I bought several gallons of Rotella in Flagstaff and kept topping it off the rest of the way home. I figured I must have lost a main seal or something serious like that. Once I zeroed in on the plug I was able to wipe the area clean and then it seeped out fast enough when I started it up I could immediately confirm the location of the leak. Sitting in the driveway at a fast idle it was a steady drip after it was running for a minute or so. The higher the RPM, the faster the leak.
