oil cooler question, problem

I have a little bit of a problem, while I was unbolting my oil cooler housing from the engine block I must not have emptied enough of my coolant because some of it spilled out and mixed with the oil that is in the reservoir where the oil cooler sits. I pumped out all of the oil and the coolant that had settled at the bottom, soaked up the last little bit with some clean towels and then did the same thing for the small reservoir under the oil pump inlet strainer and replaced the strainer with a new fresh one. I have filled up the main reservoir with normal engine oil and now ready to drop the new oil cooler in place. I am also going to drain the main oil and put new oil in just incase any coolant got through but I don't think any did. When I was soaking up the chamber under the strainer oil would drain back into the the area I was soaking and was always oil only, no coolant, so I'm thinking no coolant got past this part seeing that it must have to travel higher than the small reservoir. I hope this makes sense. Does everything I mention sound like the fix for the problem or is there more I should do? Thanks for taking the time to look at this for me.

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking the same thing so I used some shop paper towels and blew them off real good with the air hose to get rid of anything hanging on, so I hope that worked. Have a good one my friend and thanks again.
