Odd Clutch Problem

thats definitely a single. a dual mass looks just like the same set up, only difference is that there 2 flywheels together. the one closest to the engine has the teeth for the starter. thats what i have. i'll send pics soon. 5 bolts hold the secondary to the primary. yes there is play between the two. and yes there are also 5 springs.

like i said, thats a single and no there won't be any play in that set up. i was able to turn mine with a screwdriver(granted it was a pain in the butt) and thats how i got to all of the eight pressure plate bolts.

OK. Thank you for the help. I'm beginning to wonder if it was a new clutch/fly wheel and it just got broken in, and I got carried away. I definitely have to replace the clutch fork though because I think that what made it seem worse than it is. Again thanks.

these are the photos of my dual flywheel. in the first picture you could see the space between the 2 flywheels. there is about 1/2 inch play between them.
