Just like the topic said, the truck is now making white smoke pretty much all the time. At highway speeds unless boost is above 6psi. At idle (stop light), upon take-off, tons of smoke and then a steady amount through acceleration. Not loosing coolant. The temps here have been in the teens and low 20s today and single digits at night. I've observed other trucks and they are not smoking at all. My first thouht is injector related (o-rings). Any ideas/confirmation? Thanks. Probably should have put this up in the 911 section but the truck still runs. I just need to get this fixed asap before I have to drive to RI (currently in Buffalo) and then on to GA.

Not yet. No WIF light. No real loss of power. I am suspecting the injector o-rings due to the fuel leak I had from the fuel bowl drain valve o-rings. Also, no loss of fuel pressure.

Scott your truck is not gettng warm enough.... try placing a piece of Card Board over the front of the Grill, You Gutted your EBPV, this is really something you needed for that X-Tra Cold that you in ... White is due to the cylindars not staying warm enough to burn the fuel... when you have Boost, you are heating things up... thats why the smoke goes away... also check your Oil level... and smell for Diesel... extended run times like this will cause cylinder wash.

The engine is up to temp when this occurs. Oil level is difficult to check due to the obvious leak from the dipstick fitting on the side of the oil pan. My truck is very upset with me right now. Leaking oil, air, and maybe fuel.

I still don't think your cylinder temps are high enough... I would sometimes have these problems on those SUPER COLD Nights driving through Eastern Montana in January.... if I put a bib on the grill thiings would improve greatly.

I am going to check my CCV re-route this morning. I have it routed behind the rear axle. It may be packed full of snow. It came to me in the middle of the night. I have oil residue on the tip of the dip stick, the leak from the oil pan, I think I am pressurizing the crankcase. We'll see.

I cut the CCV hose just forward of the fuel tank and got a whitish/grey goop. Definitely plugged. I wasn't getting anything out of the end of the hose but when I cut it open I got the ooze and the engine was definitely venting.

I was in Indy for 6 days last weekend and the warmest temperature I remember was 17*and the lowest was -9*. I too would white smoke on start up for a few minutes, but I did not experience it at operating temperature, and my EBPV is also gutted.

My truck was making tons of smoke as well a few weeks ago, changed the fuel filter and it dissapeared. It would just billow on acceleration but was a little lighter just driving normal. Try that first!! No water in fuel light either, and no apparent loss in power (wasn't towing anything though). I drove this week in -15 F weather with no smoke, engine stayed plenty warm at 75 mph without anything in front of the radiator.
