Nothing On Fuel Pedal

The other day I was here in the city went to pull away when the light turned green nothing at all on my fuel pedal just like the cable came unhooked. I shut the truck off and restarted it then it was fine has anyone had this problem?? Help............

check for loose connections... also get it scanned. There are three variable resistors in the throttle pedal assembly. if it looses any 1 it will throw a code and still work (pretty sure) if it looses two or more, it just idles, and throws more codes.

The fact that it came back after a restart kinda makes me lean to a poor connection. It's the easiest place to start.

I checked the connectors it all seems fine also it didn't set a code. Thanks for any help

This will happen when the truck goes into fail safe mode. A restart clears it right up. Not sure why it went in fail safe, but it did. ;)

Would be kinda nice to have one of those on my mouth before I say something stupid to my wife. :D
