Reply: I always top off my tank until I can't get anymore diesel in it. I dont stop at the click because like you said it takes alot more fuel if u top it off.

Do you fill it until you SEE fuel in the filler neck? This is not recommended on a hot day if you are going to go and park it after fueling.

2200rpms at 70mph means you have 4.10 gears....your buddy prolly has 3.73's.

Yeah, but look at Scott's sig: he's got a lift and big tires, too. I want to have better mileage.
