Nope. Didnt replace it as supposedly when it was relocated to the front of the engine where there were not as many problems with it especially the oil leakeage issue that would short it out. The FICM was sent out today to FICMrepair to get this definite problem corrected.
Now that I think about it the problem 5 weeks ago was that it wouldnt start in the mornings. When I did get it cranked that night it was blowing black smoke and did belch one puff of white smoke. I had been losing coolant to the tune of about a gallon every 200 miles so I knew it was time to replace the oil cooler as it was puking it out the degas bottle. I replaced the Oil cooler, egr cooler seals gaskets cleaned and polished the turbo, boiled the intake and cleaned the EGR valve as it was highly koched up etc. I belive the FICM was the long start and cold start issue prior to doing this.
If the FICM repair doesnt correct all problems, I will check into the ICP sensor.
