I remember seeing some superduty's that weren't King Ranch, Platinum, or Harley Edition's but I can't remember the name of the special edition I am thinking of.... If I am remembering correctly the truck was black with a red pinstripe, and I remember the interior was very sharp with black and red seats that gave the truck a smooth look....

It's very possible that I have no clue what I'm talking about, but if anyone knows what I am talking about please let me know:thumbs

I would think this would be a pre 2003 superduty:dunno

It could be some form of the Harley Editions..who knows

there was an "all black" SPORT...had NO CHROME or very
little (black bumpers and grill up front)

and i recall there was a more subtle harley unit....dark blue
(almost looked black)...had phantom flames down on the bottom
of the drivers door.

there might have also been an all black hd, w/ orange tape
stripe (up high on the doors/fender & bed) unit...but ALL of
the hd units (black or blue) were obviously marked on the inside...
chrome logos on the seat etc.

What paint or color or interior styling???

Im not to sure... It was probably 4 years ago when I saw this truck...the best way to descibe it would be a Superduty edition that lookes like the F150 Harley editions....but I remember telling the owner that I liked his truck and I could swear it was NOT a Harley edition...but the seats were black cloth with like a redish/black mix down the middle...and the rest of the interior looked black...but again this was years ago..but I just now it was a powerstroke...

You maybe talkin about the Centinenial Edition. Ford made about 5000 of them in the Super Duty and various other Ford models.

FORD CENTENNIAL-EDITION VEHICLES MARK COMPANY’S FIRST 100 YEARS

WASHINGTON, Dec. 19, 2002 – Five new limited-edition vehicles, designed to mark Ford Motor Company’s 100th year of building automobiles, will be displayed for the first time ever at the 2002 Washington Auto Show.

The three comprehensively-equipped Centennial-edition cars – the 2003 Ford Mustang, Focus and Taurus – and two trucks – the 2003 Ford F-Series Super Duty and Explorer – will be on display at the Washington Convention Center from Dec. 26 through Jan. 1, 2003.

In honor of Henry Ford, who established Ford Motor Company on June 16, 1903 and invented the moving assembly line, the Centennial-editions will be available in “any color so long as it is black.”

* Ford F-Series Super Duty Crew Cab Centennial Edition: leather-wrapped steering wheel and center console; overhead storage console; sliding rear window; power driver’s seat; power windows; privacy glass; and a color-keyed rear bumper.

The Centennial editions will be available in Ford dealer showrooms in spring 2003. Production will be limited to 3,000 units each for Mustang, Focus, and Super Duty and 4,000 units for Explorer and Taurus. Pricing will be announced closer to introduction.

That sounds right...and the picture I get when i google it looks like the truck I remember seeing...but all I see are 2007 trucks and I know it was years ago when i saw this truck....I guess I could have seen it in 2006..that was long enough ago for me to forget :( ... the truck is called an Outlaw Edition...

I guess I was just putting two trucks together and dreamin of something that wasn't there....

The Outlaw is pretty sweet though...black leather seats with red down the middle...
