Howdy yall. Just sold my 04 F150 and am looking at getting an 06 250 with the 6.0l of course. Looking for advice on what to look for when i got drive it and about what its worth. Then of course after i get it. Modifyin it.

I would recommend on getting an OASIS report from a Ford dealer. it will tell you what work has been done on the truck at a Ford dealership....also check the trans fluid, just make sure it doesn`t have a burn`t smell and a brown colour to it....also check around the Degas bottle(coolant bottle) area for any white crud(coolant from being overheated), which could indicate an overheating problem and or headgasket issue....if it is a 4x4, check to make the hubs work properly and the 4 wheel drive engages like it should....for a 06, up here they going for anywhere between 24000-35000CDN, depending on mileage, trim level and cab configuration....hope this helps
