Hey this is my first post, so why not start off with a question.

I have a 1996 Ford Diesel Super Duty, it used to be a rental, so I think it has a restrictor plate, how do I find it, how do I take it off.

Or am I missing something?

Is your truck a diesel or gasser?

I think it is called a speed governor.

the speed is limited electronically...on a 96 youll have to re-chip it to get rid of that.
