Soooooooooooooooooo did you gut the dash to install the security system, or to install the hush mat material, or was it just a good opportunity to do the hush mat while you were installing the security system?

Well, It all started with sound proofing, then, I thought: I can take that out too, and then: it can't be that difficult to remove the steering wheel, and the pedals, and the dash, and the dash frame, and the heater core. Well, the heater core stayed but it is not bolted up. There will be some security stuff going in but it didn't really require the removal of everything forward of the driver seat. My wife now thinks I am :CRAZY and looking back I may be but if you are going to do it, do it right the first time (because I will never do this(on this truck) again).
