So yesterday I was driving around doing a little dog training. It was about 95 degrees out......really damn hot. I was driving the truck around and I had to make a quick stop to let the dogs out to swim in the pond and cool off. Left the truck idleing with the air on. Sat there running for about 5 or 6 min. Got in the truck and went down the road. Put the go pedal down to get up a hill and........no power. It was like it couldn't get past 1500 rpms.

Got up the hill, finally got it going and then it was back to normal. It was like getting the fresh air moving through the radiator and in the engine compartment made it "come alive" again.

Got in the truck to go to work this morning and everythign was A-OK again.

Was the turbo hot? Is it my EGR? I was baffled.

Well....I am going to go ahead and clean the EGR as I have no idea if it has ever been cleaned.

As for gauges.....yeah...I have them......on my tool bench in the garage! :sly

That is on the list of "to do's" some weekend very soon.
