A nice change from the Zed.

I've been studying and practicing code in between the various fires I've been having to put out since summer. Still not fast enough to pass at 5 WPM. Now the FCC has made that point moot.

That being said, that doesn't mean I will never study code or use it. There are too many amateurs who use the mode exclusively, and there are many countries who still require it. So while I may test for the General and maybe even try for the Extra and pass, code is still on my "to do" list.

It would be embarrassing for the vice president of the local amateur club to NOT be proficient in Morse. Yep, I was elected! More incentive to upgrade right there.
