No Idle Law in Florida

you guys are going to go into shock... but actually the epa has legislation that goes into effect soon about idling in rest stops etc....
missippi has one and it basically mandates you shut of the big engine while sitting and if you want ac or heat you use a smaller generator to run the the heat and ac...
landstar has it going on all their new trucks as we read
its coming down to wasteful fuel use and emissions
adding tns of bad stuff to the air as the truck just sits in a rest area or truck stop

I have seen at a VERY FEW truck stops Idle Aire, not all truck stops have it though.

hey john, the PETRO at exit 12 on I-285 uses them.

also, another brand of generator type on board system is autotherm, powerpacapu, rigmaster, and i know of a local auto transport company here where i live, that put a small kubota diesel engine inside the toolbox on the pass. side of a 2007 Peterbilt, that taps into the diesel fuel tanks on the truck, that powers electrical outlets in the truck for computers, TV, etc. and also comes with vents for the A/C and heat.
