No Air

I flipped my Air conditioning on the other day and nothing but warm air.
My clutch is not engaging. My fuses are ok.
Any suggestions?
I have 2001 F-350

The A/C compressor will not function at all if the freon level is low.

yup. try to get it recharged and see what happens. mine was doing that and i got it recharged today and it works great! the guy said i might have a leak in the lines somewhere though so we'll see how long i've got cold air.

yeah, that's my guess, too.

have dye added to the system when they do it, too.

Yes, you are probably out of refrigerant.
Just a hint, if a system is low on refrigerant, there IS a leak SOMEWHERE. Refrigerant doesn't just disappear.

Statements like this really crack me up.
Did he check for leaks with a detector or just charge 'er up and go??

A/C system repairs have to be the most commonly mis-diagnosed and poorly repaired in the automotive and equipment repair business.

Hope you get er blowing COLD again, hard to live without it

First thing is try wigglin the wire on top of the compressor while its runnin to see if it kicks in. Those connections are pretty notorious for causing problems. If it engages then it might be a cheap fix.

No refrigerant in the system and I see no leaks. It disappeared somewhere. (condenser)?
We pulled the connector and jumped it and the ac clutch still did not engage. We shall see.

The condenser had a hole in it.
Now I have air.
