Newbie question...Leveling

Ok guys I have and 07 PSd Fx4 crew and...
Whats the purpose of a leveling kit? I just put 20's on my truck and do not see a difference. The rear does not seem to be higher.
Now could someone explain this to me in easy to understand terms..and are they hard to install..<if needed>

Your truck don't need one most likely.
A leveling kit is for lifting the front of
a dually, so they don't have so much nose dive on them.

Leveling kits aren't just for dually's, I have one on my truck. All a leveling kit does is raise the front of a truck, using a spring or spacer, to remove that nose-down look most seem to have from the factory. If you look in my pics, you can see what I'm talking about.

I dont understant why people use them on the 05+ trucks. I have YET to see one that sits noticably low in the front?? IMHO when you add a leveling kit it raises the front HIGHER then the rear, looking 50 million times stupider then it did before. If I put a 2'' leveling kit on my '06, it would sit about 1.5'' HIGHER then the rear, thus looking retarded.

Is your truck an F250, or 350? The 350's all pretty much sit too low in the front for most people's taste's. My 350 sat close to 3" lower in the front than the rear, so thats why I installed a leveling kit on mine.

Check out the low front end on my 06 350. THis is why I am going to install a levelling kit.

Must be a 350 thing. Never paid that close attention to it.

It is a 350 thing my truck was almost 4" higher in the rear and my headlights hit the ground 20' in front of the truck.
