New Turbo for me.......

I am on my 3rd turbo on my 05 X.

First one went at 4800 miles. 2nd went at 6500 miles.

I have no mods to my X except a push bar on the front. I only tow a 750cc jetski.

The first time the dealer said I had a bad turbo from the factory. Vanes were sticking.

2nd time some wire shorted out that controls the electronic part of the turbo and fried that the turbo.

Dealer tells me they installed the "upgraded" turbo and I shouldn't have any more problems.

Anybody else hear about the upgraded turbo? :confused:

Maybe because I don't drive my X that much that I am having problems? I bought my X in Aug 05 and as of today it only has about 8000 miles.

i too am on my 3rd turbo(upgraded). factory took a dump and when all my engine work was done the said they would be replacing the reman w/ an upgraded one (it was only the second one the dealership had done). all new workings, vanes etc. whatever!! the thing runs like no tomorrow. no issues.
