Well, I upgraded my 02 Duramax, but I went with an 06 GMC Duramax. I really thought it was much more powerful than the Ford, and that is what I needed. I have to admit, I really wanted to get a Ford, but the 6.0 issues eventually scarred me off, and did I mention the POWER the new LBZ Duramax has! I still look at Fords on the road, they are a beefy truck, but I had to follow my instincts, and for me this was the right decision. Thanks for the info and help I recieved here, I'm not one of these guys who will bash whatever the other guy has. All three are good trucks, you just have to decide what is important to you.

I wish that people would stop thinking about issues with the 6.0.

I love mine, I'm never worried about getting stranded or anything. Hell I beat on 'er pretty good and she's doing wonderful.

I am new also to this site. I also looking for a new truck to tow my 12,000 lbs fiver. I brought home a new F250 crew cab to see how it fit in my garage. I have 9 foot wide doors and it is tight. I liked the straight sale price over what I have priced so for (chevy and GMC). The reasons I did not get the truck is I did not like the color of the interior. It was roomer than my 03 Duramax that now have and the quality seemed better. I had the truck for around four hours until the wife got home to look at it. I also noticed that the truck was leaking oil. The dealer offered to fix it and another thousand off the price but I am afraid of it. Is there a oil leak problem and where is it coming from?? It was wet around the oil pan. I have had Fords before and always good service from them.
