hey guys.. i am looking at 99-03 supercabs with the 7.3 liter diesel. i don't want a huge lift since i will be driving the truck on a daily basis. i was thinking like 2.5-3" i just want something that will ride nice and can handle a little off road but nothing crazy at all... any suggestions? i see dual shock options.. dual steering stabilizer options.. i know i want leaf springs not blocks for the rear... anything else you can fill me in on and maybe suggest a kit and/or website to get stuff from?

i guess my goal is either a 33X12.5 or 35X12.5 for the tires... and will those fit on the stock rims?

and this size lift and tire will effect mpg by about 3-4, right?

thanks!

Ebay for the dual shock bracket 90 bucks shipped and replaces the factory mount. Especially with the diesel. Far as the lift goes depends on how much money your looking into investing. Best ride is gonna come from a spring hanger in the front like a 3 incher. Retains factory ride cause it reuses the factory springs. For the rear i would go with an add a leaf. Those size tires will fit on the factory rims.

yep a spring hanger and shackle will give you the best ride and require no steering correction. and allow for a 35" tire.

check out trucktoyzperformance.com or sdhqoffroad.com

Dual shocks are not really needed unless you off road. and 3" dosent allow for much wheel wheel to even see them. and for stabilizer a replacement singel is addaquate for 35" tires and duals are more for larger than 35" but you can add them but may notice increased effort to steer.
