F250 4x4 2001 7.3. Codes p1316 and po236, If anyone can help me with this I would greatly appreciate it.. Trying to stay away from the stealership..
Engine runs rough in third gear. just changed the fuel filter it was pretty dirty

P1316 is an IDM code, may be an injector issue or a valve cover wiring harness issue.

Can U tell me a little more

Thanks for the info. Where is the boost sensor located? Is it best to replace the whole harness. Thanks again

Your boost sensor probably doesnt need to be replaced, the code will be set each time the engine boost levels reach or exceed 25PSI which will cause the PCM to defuel the engine.

The UVC harnesses are located, well, under the valve covers on each side. There are two plugs or connectors on each harness, pull the connectors apart and inspect for a burnt pin.
