Whats up guys?
Im new to this forum, I just got my first diesel. Its a 05 f250 crew cab fx4. Im not really familiar with diesels, So if you could give me some pointers on them that would be great. I live in Utah, Just south of Provo. Im not sure which weight oil to run or basic things with diesels. What is the stock boost for this truck. Ive had a ton of cars and trucks before. Ive been around turbos with my Subaru WRX. I love working on my toys. I plan of lifting this thing just alittle. Maybe a 4 in or something like that. Well any info you could help me out with would be great. Heres some pics of my Truck.
Thx
Jesse :burnit

Welcome chase. Nice looking truck. You will get a lot of information here and we can help you spend money on mods. I would recommend getting a few guages to see what your truck is doing. An EGT for the Exhaust Gas Temperatures and a real Boost Guage to start. The Ford Factory guages are idiot lights that sort of move needles and are not accurate. They are the output of the computer that controls the motor (PCM).

thanks guys,
i would like to get a 3 gauge a-pillar to start. autometer gauges always worked good for me in the past. i was told that oil changed were every 5k miles or 6 months. is that right?
