I am a new, 2011 F250 4x4 diesel owner. I have spent considerable time reading forums. My truck is a crew cab and I marvel at everything on it. I was just interested in getting to where I was going. Traded in a 99 chevy 2500 with a 454. New truck got 19.5 from Yuma to El Centro. So far I am happy and the ride is super. I do have a 5th wheel and a 21 foot boat. Hope to haul these with ease.

Welcome to SSD.com, glad to have you here, the truck should do a good job of pulling both. How big of a fifth-wheel do you have? I have a 36 foot HitchHiker and it's about 16.5 LB. and my truck is a DRW and it does a real good job of pulling and backing the RV.
Enjoy it.

My 5er is a 2007 32 ft and is around 10,500 empty. I have yet to tow it. Just had the rhino lining put in and the hitch gets installed in about 3 weeks. That is the earliest I can get it. Picked up the 5 from my mother in law. I am in the Imperial Valley by the Mexican border. I haul the boat to San Diego, Colorado river and to Mexico. I have been researching where ultra low diesel is located in Mexico. Thanks for the welcome. I am just getting used to everything. Not sure how I lived without the backup camera for the boat.

Welcome aboard!!! Keep us posted on your truck. The 19.5 is great mileage, and it will definitely get better. When I had my 2002 7.3, I got the best mileage as long as I kept it under 70 mph and 2000 rpm's.

Do you have any pictures to post?

Thanks for making me feel welcome. My 2011 is an F250, white 4x4. It is completely stock and will probably stay that way. Unfortunately I made the mistake of not watching and checking when an associate hooked up at light bar and generator trailer to my truck. Trailer bounced off the ball and I just got my new tail gate. Man there is a lot to taking that apart with the back up camera and the old fart step. Had my first regen at 519 miles and the second one 200 miles later. Only thing I noticed, after chancing to see it on the screen, was a dip in gas mileage of about 3 miles per gallon. Only lasted about 5 miles or so. I happened to be on the free way for the second one.
