New Member New to diesel power

I have just purchased a 06 250 and in love with it. I also have a question. A friend has an edge attitude for sale out of an 02 250 w6.0 and I didn't know if it would work on my 06. This is my first diesel to buy and I can now say it wont be my last. I work at a mechanic shop (18yrs) and have not done much work on diesel engines so I hope this site will be helpful to me.

You'r 06 is a 6.0L engine. The 02 would of had a 7.3L, so I would say no, it will not work. Unless You'r friend got the year wrong. The 6.0L was not put in these trucks until sometime in 2003.
