ok so i bought it and returned it yesterday morning... trans was shot and the guy didnt want to fix it even though it was under warranty. got my car and $ back and sold my car this morning for 1,000 bucks more than he gave me. went today and looked at a 2001 F250 short bed ext cab black 121k on it. very clean has a plow attachment on it but doesnt come with a plow... they were asking 17,900$.
problems with the truck: small crack in corner of windshield, come of the lights in the clutster are out, and the climate control adjustment to change where the air comes out is stuck on de frost.
NOTE: it was at a real ford dealship.
so i offered him $14,000 and they have to fix those few small problems. so i may get it for that. im going back monday and putting it on a lift and bringing my mechanic with me to check a few things over, oil pan, manifold etc. so well see what happens...

That truck has a vacuum leak in the hubs. The defrost issue tells us that. It goes into defrost when the vacuum is not registering.

awesome... def not buying that... just found through the car fax its been in 2 accidents in the front end within 10 days of eash other...

ok so i found a truck and ran the vins on carfax and at a ford dealership and it was good so i bought it... heres the scoop.

vinyl bed cover
power everything
back up parking sensors
short bed
ext cab
bought at a real dealership
have 2 year/24k mile warranty
was for sale at 25,900$
got it for 21,500
and the warranty was another $1,000.
i will post pics of it tomorrow morning.
hopefully this one lasts and if it doesnt atleast i have a leggit warranty
