They call it a rock weasel its got a rotary drum with carbide teeth and we use it for highspots that get missed on jobs. John deere makes them and then attatches them to loaders. The motor on the tail of the loader is just a large hydraulic pump that turns the drum.
Keith. Gotta love those Oshkosh snow removal trucks. My dad sells Oshkosh products in Ohio to air ports. Some have 24' snow blowers and other attachments that require 2-3 aux engines.
A Maintenance Nightmare.. Tranny took a dump on one, we pushed it with a 966 for the rest of the season. 12X12 timber, chained the 2 together, 2-way radio so the 2 operators could talk.. biggest hassle was keeping the 966 guy awake cuz in 5 minutes he was operating inside ONE BIG SNOWBALL.
