Howdy all from Central Missouri. Ordered my first 99SD 7.3 Lariat before dealers had them on their lot and picked up May 98. Been a great truck for pulling a 32' New Horzion 5W, problem free. Always used Rotella 15W40 w/Motorcraft filter from WMart. Got another SD last week, 08 6.4 Lariat with 31000 miles. New hitch came today and will install when weather is nicer. First time I purchased an extended service plan from dealer, just alittle concerned giving up the 7.3 hope the 6.4 proves to be as trouble free. FT RVer out of Bedford TX, should be back on the road in June.

Hi Wayne, we love FTing, retired in 02 but been land locked in Central Mo. for past 3 yrs. so we could take care of my wife's mother. Plan on going to Escapade at Fair Grounds in Sedalia Mo last week in May then hope to be on road again in June. Been married since 69 but fting can make or break a marriage. We both love the life style, a must but can see the day will come that we cut back to being on the road 7-8 months yearly. Hardest part is being away from grandson, just got back picking up SD and spending 10 days in Bedford for his springbreak. Might check out escapees.com for information on FTing lifestyle etc., great bunch and their headquarters is located in Livingston Tx. Try to decide if I want to continue with Rotella-T or go with Motorcraft 10W40 SD oil. Would like to know who makes the oil for Ford.
