Hi all;

I just found the forum. I have been looking for others who have the Super Duty to share anger (at FORD) & joy with, hopefully solve some puzzles & see if I am not alone in my arguments with FORD about their engineering & workmanship. Best part of the truck, as it was with my '92 was not made by FOMOCO, but by NAVISTAR. It was a sad day when IHC stopped building "personal size" trucks.
I have an 03 F350; CC; long bed SRW; 3.73 & 6 speed. ODO is around 65***,
tires are originals ,which is a surprise!

fwiw ive got an 04, 6.0L 50k miles (havent been driving it much
in the last year or so since we moved)...im problem free...and ive
got the original tires on mine too (longest lasting damm things ive
ever owned).

as for the quality...man EVERYTHING made these days is taking a
quality hit...its the nature of public (and even private) companies...
maximize profit, increase sales & keep the almighty share holder happy....

its been goin' on since before Christ time...at the SAME time you ahve
to look at where the HP/TQ and towing capacities are on my 04 vs
your 92

if the dealers could fix the truck on their own i think folks would be
singing a COMPLETELY different tune...the dealers certainly havent
done anything to increase their tech knowledge these days now have
they....

hope youll stick around...its a GREAT (friendly & helpful) bunch here
and we'll all do our best to get you thru any dealer-dissatisfaction issues...

...i think we all had issues with our trucks at times, some more then others....but i wouldn`t trade my PSD for anything....
