I just bought the new Kel-tec P3AT, 7 round 380 auto pistol. I can't believe how small and light it is for concealed carry but still packs a pretty good punch. it will now be my summer and motorcycle gun. I am used to carrying my Glock 23 so this is quite a difference. I forget I have it on me!

i am surprised you could get your hands on one
the factory is producing them as fast as they can and many FFL dealers have a 2-3 weeks backlog on delivery

they are cool little pocket guns, the pouch you can get for em look like a wallet and fit real nice in your back pocket :sly

beretta is making a knck off of it as well,

i have two on back order :dunno

i went to buy mine about two weeks ago and had to put it on "layaway" just to reserve one. It only took about a week and half to come in though. I bought it at a gun shop here outside Fort Bragg that does tons of business, got a great deal I think, $239.00. I plan on putting some rounds through it this weekend and will report back.
You can't even tell you are carrying it, its an amazing firearm.

You have two good choices in carry guns. I love both my G23 and my P3AT.

I usually carry a small gun case to use when I go through the gate.
I love my Glock 23. I bought it when I was stationed in Germany in 1995, it is an old school one without the molded grip or the slots on the frame. It says "Glock Austria" on the side instead of "Smyrna Ga" I will continue to carry the Glock in the cooler weather put switch to the Kel-Tec in the warmer weather. It is just to hard to conceal even a medium gun in the NC heat. I am sure you guys in Texas have the same problem. Now i just need to put a bunch of rounds through to familiarize myself with it before I carry it.

Does he have a valid Texas CHL? What would the problem be?
