Hello all! My name is Mark. I joined here a while back, but have only been lurking as I don't own a PowerStroke yet. I followed a link here from "deisel place" where I am also a member since I drive a 96 6.5TD Chev.
Anyway, we're looking at a 2001 E-350 cube van with the 7.3 Stroke, and I have a few questions...
First off, I pretty sure this engine is not intercooled, and I'm wondering how different is this engine than the one found in the trucks of the same year? Or is it more similar to the 94-97 PSD's? Can many of the simple/cheap mods that are usually performed on the trucks be done to the van too?
Is there anything in particular to these vehicles that we should look out for when we see it?
