I've come here to gather information about the 7.3L powerstrokes. I'm currently in the market for a "new to me" truck and I'm pretty sure the 7.3L will be the right one for me.
I'm currently driving a 1998 GM 6.5 diesel, and my truck is pretty well known throughout my town, but it just doesn't fit my needs anymore and I need to get something a little newer and with the features I need (which happens to mostly be an extended cab and power windows/locks/mirrors).
I own a small lawn care company so I tow a trailer a couple days a week and then commute to school a couple times a week as well, which is about a 75 mile round trip per day, so between towing and doing some highway driving every week, diesels seem to fit me best.
I'm not very mechanically inclined (so bare with me if I happen to ask any "stupid" questions). Luckily I have a very good mechanic team that has worked on my current truck since I bought if 4 years ago and works on all of our family cars.
I'm excited to get my new truck soon and hope that I will be happy with it.
