The relay in front of the GPR should be the starter relay.

Negative ghost rider....front relay on top of the engine is for the intake air heater, not the starter.

The regulator is prolly going to the MAP sensor to prevent an overboost code. There is no MAF sensor on a 7.3L.

Some like to disconnect the WG, I personally lost .2 secs at the track and backpressure was higher. Disconnected you do get higher boost #s but higher isn't always better.

Thanks for all the information! As soon as I can get some scratch I am getting a predator tuner, since it does the tires sizes and codes. Then I need to get new gears for the front and rear. Its terrible at 50mph between od and drive sometimes I just take it out of OD. Ofcourse all the crap is going to come off.

I do notice that when I get a little boost under load like a hill, I see the SES light flicker every couple of seconds. I will have to wait until I get the tuner to see what it is.

Also, do you know where to look to see where my pyro guage is plummed in? I havent a clue, but figure its near the turbo somewhere. I am getting up to 1000 degrees under load on hills in OD and want to make sure I am not really passing 1250 if it is plummed in post turbo or whatnot.

The pyro is probably in the drivers exhaust manifold. Look for it. It is usually done from the bottom of the manifold.

If it's not in one of the manifolds it is probably in the downpipe or one of the uppipes. Mine is post turbo and I try to keep it under 900 degrees for safety.

Thanks, I got another question

I have filled up twice now since I got the truck, its a dually crew cab long bed and I believe I have a 20 gallon tank or some chit.

Both times I am showing 70 or so miles left on the meter, but just about E on the gauge. I take it and fill it up and get 22.9 and 24 gallons in it. Also the guage never goes to full, just 3/4 full (even when filling REALLY slow), it also begins dropping quickly when driven 40 or so miles so I dont think its hung up. I figure its time for a new sending unit but was wondering what tank a 99 dually would come with, I heard 38,39 and now 29 gals. who knows??

It wouldnt suprise me if the previous owner switched the tank to a different since he apparently had a donor truck to get the automatic conversion out of. Maybe he put the wrong sending unit in, or are they both the same?

I'm not sure what tank your dually is supposed to have in it but my 02 F350 SRW has a 32 gal tank. The sending unit depends on the size of the tank. It could be a defective sending unit. I know with mine when the fuel light comes on I have roughly 6 gal left.

Turbo upgrade

Check the build date (driver door) if you have an "early" 99' you will need to take the engine out to do the swap. It is easier that way. You will have to change the Y pipe, inlets on the block, pedestel, down pipe and some other changes.

I forgot to come back and put up a picture of my rig so here it is..

I have another question, I was checking under the hood yesterday and a buddy pointed out what looked to be a 1/2 inch heater hose coming from the air intake tube 5 or 6 inches from the (aftermarket) air filter and went to the air intake plenums heat sensor (I think its the intake plenum, its in the valley and you can see it when looking down at the top of the motor closer than the turbo kinda like a "Y") The heater hose is tea'd in and I am not sure what it is.

my friend says I could be losing boost with that setup and it sure looks like I should but I am getting over 20psi up to 26 sometimes. We brought it to a 7.3 guru and even he had not seen it before and none of the stock components he had laying around his garage had this fitting.
