I see a fight coming and what the state/government will say is that they give you the right to have a drivers license and drive if they so feel it. They will make new laws. I could see a law like this for a teens who's starting to drive.
But it's crap anyway.

Starting back in like '95 I was familiar with that operating a commercial vehicle in Cali while on the cellular telly was a no-no except for Nextels(which I used) but when I obtained my California CDL in 2001 it was a super no-no.

Here in Texas all bets are off when it comes to yacking on the celly while operating a commercial rig,I doubt anything on the national level could be enforced,states would need the "cell phone patrol"
