New guy with stupid question

Hi everyone, might as well show my ignorance right off the bat... but before I do, I'm a Ford die hard. I own: 69 Mach I, 2005 GT (white with stripe kit, 4 option car - otherwise known as my baby), 2008 GT500 (highly modified but tastefully done), 2008 Mustang, and my daily driver 2008 Ford F250 Super Duty.

okay so for the stupid question:

When will you be able to purchase a F350 with the new 6.7L Power Stroke? I tried to search for a thread or comment and for some reason can't seem to locate anything here...

I would wait a year before buying on of these engines. Get the major bugs out.

Thanks DaveBen, I'm very confused because the dealer told me, and these guys are usually pretty good with information, I could buy one in early 2010, like the January timeframe...

I hear you about new model year engines, however I'm not very happy (trying to be politically correct) with my current 08 F250 King Ranch that I'm sereiously thinking of buying a low mile 07 with the old 6.0L Power Stroke.

I'm not sure if anyone else on this forum posted a letter from Ford but... about 2-3 months ago I got what amounted to an apology letter for all the problems the 08 Super Duty trucks had... funny.. not really! As many new Ford products I've bought you would think Allan Mulally would have called me himself.

Welcome to SDD.com - I had heard you could order one in April 2010 but i'm not certain. I'm with DaveBen, I would wait a year to buy one.
