It's official. As of last night I'm the proud owner of a 2008 Vermillion Red F-350 XLT 4WD SuperCab longbed. I traded in my 2003 F-150 Regular Cab(and got more money than expected for it based on current market value-$2200 vs. $1000 KBB Blue Book). Original selling price was $30,555. But due to the fact that I drove 340+ miles to see(and eventually buy)the truck they gave it to me for $28500(KBB blue book on it is around $45000 based on current market value). They even rustproofed it at no additional charge and gave me a full tank of diesel fuel!

Congrats!!! Looks like you got it for $1.00/mile ($28,500 for 28,000 miles).
They were probably surprised that someone drove that far to buy it. Hope you get many years/miles out of it.
