New gears

Hi every one
Looking for suggestions on new gears, I have 3.73 now on stock wheels going to run 35x12.50-18
Just picked up an 02 F250 xcab 7.3 68k, going to lift 6" run Micky Thompson MTZ and next month get under the hood.

I'd like to know how to pick a good local shop to do that kind of work. That's not a run of the mill day to day Tire kingdom or even 4wheel parts job.

I dont know that i would change the gears out. going up to a 35 isnt that substantial and you will gain a little low end grunt, but the trade off probably wont be worth it. 3.73 should do fine for you.

Do you think the 3.73 will still be ok for the mud, I know i'm not going to be able to keep this thing on the road

you be better off with 4.10 set up

yea if youre wantin to go off road, the 4.10 set up will probably be your best bet. you'll sacrifice your mileage, but be better for the offroad.
