For those that have had the latest Emission Recall done will know what I am talking about. When the engine is at idle the computer now activates the Variable Pitch Blades(?) in the turbo to keep them from sticking. Well everytime mine does it there is a loud squeal from under the hood like rubbing your fingers down the chalk board. Does anybody elses do this? Do I need a new turbo?? Mine has done this for a while before the recall and before the new Banks 6Gun.

Thanks
Scott

i would ditto powerboatr.

once fired, it sounds like a jet dryer at the automatic car wash...:sweet

i would first ask that for sure you think it is the turbo and then would assume it is (can't think what else it would be) that you got turbo issues.. maybe get it checked for codes and take it in and have the dealer listen to it...
good luck

When mine first starts after sitting for a few hours it does the samething. Noticed the old Fart going on too since this recall. Not happy with it, but will get it fixed.
