I read a tech paper once that said only particles larger than a certain size are harmful to a diesel moter. Ive been looking for it but no luck. Ill keep trying.

just ordered it.
i went ahead and ordered the new banks ram-air intake system.
my K&N looks pitiful, its fallen apart, from some of the repairs i have had lately where it req. it to be taken out, it has gotton bent up, parts lost, the mesh around the filter layers has gotten bent up, and holes in it.
i believe it will be a good set up. it has an 8 layer filter, and increase of flow by 37% over the stock set-up.
so we shall see what comes of it.

its really a late Xmas present for my truck, i forgot to get it something.

yeah me too....but the children comes first and the mrs. too...that is why i am hoping for some snow, so i can afford some new toys for the truck....
