New 2011 Super Duty Diesel...............

Ford had their world premiere roll out of the new 2011 6.7 Superduty Diesel today at the State Fair of Texas.

Before the event they contacted our club (North Texas Power Strokes) requesting pictures of trucks from various build dates with high mileage on them.

Along with a few others in the club mine was chosen to be in the press release video with an "out with the old and in with then new theme."

It was a big deal with a huge press turn out and I got to meet Mark Fields the President of Ford Corporation Americas. I want to say thanks to Big K for submitting my truck as a candidate to the Ford marketing team.

Anyway keep an eye out for the press release video and you might see my truck.

I ain't too much of a fan of the new hood, grill, emblems, but I guess it can
grow on a person.

Keanoknick's was one of the trucks out there too......he had recently put new International badges on in place of the Powerstroke plates.

When the Ford marketing people saw them they requested that they be removed........

They look sorta like the new Dodge's. those 6.7 powerstroke emblems suck too! Glad I just got an 09, the 2011's aren't my cup of tea....

Here is the official press release video that was done today. My truck appears on stage in the beginning and Mark Fields mentions the club in his spiel. While I am disappointed so much of what we did hit the editing room floor I am glad NTXPSA still got some good publicity.
