I just read on the Airstream form website that Ford is offering a 200K extended warranty for their diesel engines. The person who posted this indecated that if you wanted to read about this that it is on the 6.0 PSD forum. I've looked and haven't been able to find it. Where is it or did I read the post wrong?

Thanks Flyguy

its an ESP (extended service plan) and its been offered for years...
the factory drive train on the 06.5+ is 5yr/100k the 200k warranty
doesnt lengthen the time very much a year or two at the
most (6 or 7yr / 200k) and itll cost you a pretty penny...3k bucks
at a minimum.

My DOB on my truck is 04/06, how can I find out if mine is the 5yr/100K mile warranty?

I'm 99% sure you have the 5/100K warranty (engine only), it's been around for quite some time, all 6.0's for sure.

Your remaining powertrain is 3/36K, unless an extended warranty was purchased at the time.

in early 2007 ford added "power train" to the 5/100k warranty,
they made it retro to mid/late 2006 trucks (august ?).

some body look thru my thread history youll find the link to the
ford press release.
