There are a couple of places you could put the pyro sensor. The most populr being in the drivers side manifold.

The tranny temp is electrical and goes into the tranny using a test port that is already there (no tapping required).

thanks guys with the search menu I found the port for the tranny sending unit location, seems real simple...
the EGT location you say is on the manifold.. does that require drilling and tapping? is there a location that will give accurate readings that does not require tapping..

I assume you want EGT before the turbo correct?

egt (pyro) probe installation requires drilling no matter where you install
it...a proper and more ACCURATE install would have the probe located
in the exhaust manifold...which will require thread TAPPING.

in short install the probe in the manifold, (drivers side @ the back of
the manifold, where theres the most room) drill it & tap it !

pre turbo readings are the most accurate (ive run both pre & post)
