Your truck is like mine. the seat bottoms are fixed. slipping them up is not eazy on the dog, the seat rails are exposed and no good place to lay.

removing the seat back: you have to kinda bump it back towards the back and lift up at the same time. there are 3 wire loops that angle down and away from the seat back and fit into slots in the sheet metal. top and bottom iirc.

i got a $50 urethane treated seat cover from the pet store for XL suv's. the cover was TIGHT getting it on, but i did one person.

dog liked it better with the seat down to ride on.

I love this site.... Great information from everyone.
Thanks to all of you.

dpantazis; looks like I will be taking a trip to the pet store. Yes you are right about leaving the seats down for Luke's comfort. It would be nice to find something to fit between the back seat and the front seats, so Luke will not have to stretch from the back seat to the console. Amazing what length we go to for our pets.

Again... thanks to all for the information.

Find some old couch cushions and cut the foam inside them to fill that area. Or if you come across a foam store/factory, have some custom cut.

It's not your truck anyway, it's Luke's! :D
