I am working on a 1995 powerstroke lets say a nightmare. the truck will run good all day long untill you shut it off, it will not restart untill the truck cools off alittle bit. I am getting a code 1211, I have change engine oil ICP IPR and resealed all the injectors, When i read the high pressure on the IPR at cranking when no start it is at about 275 psi to 350 psi it seams like once the oil temp gets below 150 degrees it will fire back up, take in mind that this thing has been overheated and has 240,000 miles on it. Although motor has no blowbye an runs great. I would appriciate anyones insight, also cam sensor has been changed.

Just a thought but the Hpop might be the cause. The oil is thicker when the eot is colder and a weak hpop can pump the thicker oil b/c it tends to build faster than warmer thinner oil. While the truck is hot and the oil is thinner the pump can pump enough while it is running but once shut off a weak hpop can sometimes not have the ability to pump the thinner oil to the needed 500psi high pressure oil. Might not be the problem but I have saw it more than once before.:2c

When is the last time the oil on this unit was changed? If you arent making enough HPO to crack the injectors and you have already changed or rebuilt the IPR and ICP then all you have left is a faulty HPOP (assuming the HPOP reservoir has oil).
